Linda Beilharz OAM

 

Executive Officer of Women's Health Lodden Mallee

 

A specialist in snow and alpine search & rescue and a member of Bush Search & Rescue, Linda was the first Australian woman to cross the North and South Poles.

 

In 2006, Linda was inducted into the Victorian Women's Honour Roll and also awarded the 1975 Memorial Grant by the Australian Women in Aviation.

 

In 2010, Linda was chosen by Australian Geographic as the Adventurer of the Year and in 2013 was awarded City of Greater Bendigo Citizen of the Year.
