Community Parade

As a caring, inclusive community the Heathcote Community Games will host a Community Parade on February 27, led by our special guests including games Patron Linda Beilharz OAM and Global Community Games Friends Co-founder Dennis Kennedy, who will be bringing a message from the Olympic Patron Community Games UK and the Wenlock Olympian Society.

We will also be recognising and acknowledging our local residents who were born overseas - who will be invited to carry flags representing their countries of origin - and will also be recognising our local sporting heroes, who often fly under the radar in rural communities.

Local school children will also be involved in the parade along with entertainers and, of course, our mascot Fazzi the Brush-Tailed Phascogale and some of his friends.

Date: February 27, 2016

Time: 10.00am - 11.00am

Route: Starts Bowling Club carpark and travels down High St

to Barrack Street
